A room doesn't warm up on its own.

Conferences, festival floors, public squares — I read a room in real time and move it until a crowd of strangers becomes a crowd that's actually together.

It was incredible to witness how a single movement exercise could bring together such a large group of people and create a strong sense of community, trust and energy. For those six minutes I felt like I was in a different world, part of a collective body made up of each and every one of us. By the time the song ended with “We are who we've been waiting for,” I felt truly and individually seen.

From the stage

Keynotes · Conferences · Summits · Offsites

A room of people who flew in from everywhere, are tired, and don't yet have the will or the social agility to connect on the topics that actually light them up. I thrive at getting them out of their seats, onto their feet, and leaning into the encounters that haven't happened yet.

Kate is the catalyst for human connection. You changed the entire energy of that room for the better — because you were brave enough to do the thing that nobody wanted to do, or could do the way that you did it. So naturally. So effortlessly.

My body is the instrument. I connect to the music, then help the crowd connect — to the sound, the room, the strangers beside them. Less phones, more play.

During her workshop she guided us to get to know ourselves and each other in such a safe and comfortable way. The way she invited us to come together to connect, share and co-create was magical — heart-opening within myself and others.

In the street

Parks · Squares · Sidewalks

Street work is at the core of what I do: to see the other in the park or the square and treat them with kindness. I'm on a mission to question modern Western ideas of community and invite everyone to the table. There is always an invitation to my circle.

If a stranger will step into a chalk circle in Washington Square Park, a conference room is easy.

I was just walking past, and suddenly I was dancing with people I'd never met.

I'd love to know what you're creating.
